Christmas 2008

Well, it seems like the snow is melting, finally!! It has been fun, but I am glad we can finally leave the house without fear of getting the car stuck or spinning out of control!! The kids have been having fun, goofing around, but they have also been fighting a lot (too much togetherness, considering they haven't had school since the 12th, due to the snow storm)!!

We had a wonderful Christmas, just the six of us! The kids spent all morning playing with their gifts, then we went to the movies to see Bedtime Stories (actually better than I thought...), and finally ate a yummy dinner cooked by Mark!

Now, this frazzled mom is on a countdown for back to school... I need my sanity back!!!

Winter white

This weekend we had our first snow of the winter!! Temperatures have been very cold, in the 20's (below 0 celcius), and the city froze, literally!! Kids had no school Monday or Tuesday, and again school has been cancelled for tomorrow!! I love the snow but am feeling captive in the house, plus I still have some Christmas shopping to do and it's driving me crazy!! But the kids are having a grand time...!!!

Headed to Coos Bay!

Mark and the kids took off to California during Thanksgiving week to visit Grandma and the rest of the family. I stayed behind so I could have some uninterrupted time to finish off several projects I have had in the back burner for a long time!!! They had a blast, enjoyed staying at Grandma's and visiting with uncles, aunts and cousins... I missed them but did accomplish quite a bit while they were gone!

This weekend we are heading to Coos Bay, on the coast (a four hour drive), for the gymnastics State Championship. Both Clara and Rita qualified at the Sectional meet and were very excited to be a part of the most important meet of the year!! We'll keep you posted!
